What is Mendeley?

Mendeley is a bibliographic reference manager that incorporates advanced social network functionalities. Allows you to share references with contacts and browse the content uploaded by other users.

It is integrated with the Library's databases and catalogues, and allows for:
  • Import documents into your personal library and organize them by adding labels and creating folders
  • Sharing research: creating public and private groups, sharing documents, collaborative work or following related research groups
  • Enter citations in text documents and generate bibliographies automatically
  • Create a personal profile of the researcher with the curriculum, publications, affiliation, etc.
 

Mendeley Premium

The Premium version offers our academic community more features than the free classic version:
  • Personal storage up to 5GB
  • Storage for research groups up to 20GB
  • Private groups of up to 50 people
  • Unlimited number of private groups
 

Mendeley Institutional Edition (MIE)

The Institutional version offers our academic community the best features. To have an Institutional account (MIE), you only have to create your account from IQS, by IP recognition through the IQS network. You will be able to enjoy:
 
  • Personal storage up to 100GB
  • Storage for research groups up to 100GB
  • Private groups of up to 100 people
  • Unlimited number of private groups
  • Access to Alumni, within 12 months of titulation
